Family Update

It is so hard to get back into a normal routine after having a week off for vacation. We have all had a tough time getting back into the swing of things this week.

I think that the weather being cold and rainy along with the fact that we have started getting ready for the Christmas season made it even harder for all of us to get back to normal everyday routine. Its good to be home and its good to be almost back on schedule. (more…)

Our Nativity

It’s official…. the Christmas Season has arrived at the Lloyd house. Christmas starts at our house with the displaying of our Nativity set. Each  year the very first Christmas decoration that is pulled from the attic and carefully displayed is the Nativity. Madilyn was very excited to see the box coming out of the attic. She has been asking me for weeks to “put out Jesus.” (more…)

Today I am thankful for Christmas. Because of the birth of Jesus we have so much to live for. I am thankful to know that God loves us so much that he sent his son to live among us and to die for our sins. Not only did he die a horrible death but he had a glorious resurrection. (more…)

The Nativity was the first real Christmas decoration that David and I purchased after we were married. While the Nativity set holds no monetary value it holds a lot of sentimental value. (more…)
