Lloyd Weekly

Lloyd_L016(chalkboard)This week has not been very eventful. We have fallen into our normal routine of work and school.  I guess that is how life is when you have to keep a regular schedule.

For some crazy reason Madilyn cut her hair this week.  Thankfully, the damage was not too terrible. We ended up having to take 1.5 inches off the back and decided not to fix the 1/2 set of bangs she gave herself. The bangs were way too short and she would look funny if we cut bangs all the way across. So for now we will just be pinning and spraying the bangs she created for herself back.

Caleb sent us a message a few days ago letting us know that he got a last minute $3000 scholarship. I am so happy for him. During high school he worked very hard taking so many Advance Placement classes that he really deserves a little bit of free money. College is so expensive, and this money will really help us with off setting his cost. He seems to be enjoying life as a college student.

David and I really had nothing going on this week except for normal work stuff. So for us life is just ticking along.

Today, we went to Gibbs Garden to see the Water Lily Festival and the Fern Dale. It was the perfect day for a walk through the gardens. We decided to have lunch in the gardens and I was very pleased with the sandwich I had. The food was a little more than I wanted to pay, but it was very good. In October they will be having a festival in the Japanese Gardens that we are looking forward to seeing.
