February Health Goals- Reviewed

sign-success-and-failure-1133804-mWhen I look back on the month of February I feel like a failure when it comes to meeting my health goals. For some reason I just could not get with the program. I really feel like the main reason I had problems meeting my goals for February was the horrible weather we had and the many snow days that kept us homebound.

February Goals

  • Walk at least 10,000 steps at least 5 days each week. This did not happen. I probably hit 10,000 steps 10 days out of the entire month. Not working for a week of snow and a week of vacation really slowed me down. It is just hard to walk circles in the house.
  • Weigh and measure with my personal coach at the start and end of the month. I did manage to keep this goal. I was actually shocked at the results the results.
  • Continue with morning work-outs, as well as afternoon workouts. Big failure here. I have no clue why I did not get my rear out of bed early in the mornings to work out. I have felt so tired and worn out and needed sleep. I made it to the gym 12 times this month, which is actually pretty good considering how many days it was closed due to icy roads.

I will be making new goals for March and will try harder to stick to them. Even though I feel like I bombed out on my February goals I am not discouraged. I am not discouraged because I managed to drop 8 pounds and 9.75 inches off of my body. In my book these numbers say success.
