Today I am thankful for social media. Prior to the invention of social media I had lost contact with many friends and family members. Now on a regular basis I have a glimpse into the lives of my family and friends. I have been delighted to be reunited with many long lost friends.
I enjoy being able to keep people updated on my life and the life of my family. I also enjoy being able to read about the lives of others. When David had his accident I was able to keep people posted and ask people to pray for him with frequency and ease. I know that text on a screen is not as good as in person visits, but since we live so far from our family and friends I will take what I can get.
