Today is David’s birthday. It’s funny as we get older that our birthdays become less and less of a big deal. Even though we no longer make birthdays a big deal I want him to feel special and loved on this special day. Today is his day, and he deserves to have a great day. We have no big plans, no party happening but that does not mean that we still won’t make it a great day full of fun memories.

I am so glad that he came into my life so many years ago. He was 20 when we met, and I can honestly say that he has only grown better with age. He is simply the most amazing man I have ever met.  I could not ask for a better friend, husband, and father for my kids.

So today I am wishing my husband a very happy birthday. I hope that we get to celebrate many more birthdays together. I also hope that he does not mind that the birthday presents I was not suppose to get him will be late.
