Thankfulness Day 14

Today, I am thankful for Date Night’s. Sometimes it is hard to get away and have a night just for me and David. Work, kids, school, and everything else in life gets in the way of our spending quality time together. Our dates help us to reconnect, and recharge. Our date nights allow us to put everything else in our life on the back burner for a few hours.

Last night we had an awesome date night. We went to Cirque de Soleil OVO, and out for dinner. We had awesome seats and the show was pretty good. We dined at Pappadeaux’s, and as usual the food was superb.

Every couple needs to take time to have a date night once in a while.

    While we had a great date night, the night was a little overshadowed with grief. Yesterday, was 1 year since our loss that was followed by the worst 8 months of our lives. I am glad that my body has finally recovered, but I mourn the loss that my family has experienced.
