Lloyd Weekly

The hot Georgia summer is here. We are set to be in the 90’s all week. I really do dislike the Georgia summer heat and humidity.

Madilyn truly enjoyed her second week of swim camp and swim lessons. She really wants to go to camp this coming week, but I have told her she needs to spend some time this summer with her family. She is getting excited about her upcoming birthday.

I guess Caleb is having fun and learning a lot. I did get a text from him that said that things are going great. He needs to post more pictures on Facebook and send more messages so that we can be more informed about what he is doing and how he is doing. I guess this is what happens when kids are on the brink of true adulthood.

David and I attended the wedding vow renewal ceremony for our friends from church. A wedding in the woods by a creek followed by a reception in the barn. It was a very nice ceremony. We had fun and it was nice to get out for a while.

I spent most of my 1st week of summer doing the same thing I always do during my first week of summer– deep cleaning the house. I feel like things get so cluttered and disorganized during the school year. I never have time to clean the cabinets and purge things. So that is what I did this week. This coming week Madi and I plan on spending time playing, learning and enjoying summer.
